Here at Walters & Son Cabinetry we work with you from start to finish with one on one attention. We offer a free consultation and preliminary plans (Floor Plan, Elevations and 3D Plans).

Q. Does your company actually manufacture the cabinetry?
A. All of our Custom Cabinets are built in-house by our skilled craftsmen.

A. We handle all deliveries and install ourselves in order to provide unparalleled customer service.

Q. What are the cabinet boxes made of?
A. We use 3/4" thick veneer core plywood for all cabinet boxes.

Q. Are face frames, doors, and drawers solid wood?
A. All components are made of solid wood.
​
Q. What thickness are the materials used for the face frame, doors, and drawers?
A. We use 13/16" thick lumber.

Q. What adhesives are used in the manufacturing process?
A. We only use 100% premium wood glues.
​
Q. Are there any plastics used in the construction?
A. We never use plastic in our cabinetry.

Q. Are the drawers dove tail?
A. Yes, all the drawers we produce are dove tail.

Q. What are the drawer bottoms made of, and how are they fastened?
A. Our drawer bottoms are made of 1/4" veneer plywood dadoed into the drawer box.

Q. What type of drawer glides are used?
A. We use Blum full extension undermount soft-close glides.
​
Q. What type of hinges are used?
A. We use Blum concealed soft close hinges.
​
Q. Are toe kicks made of solid wood or a veneer?
A. All of our toe kicks are made using solid wood.

Q. What type of finish is used?
A. We use premium General Finishes

Q. Is hardware (door and drawer pulls) included in the price?
A. Hardware is not included in the price, however, we offer discounts through our distributors if you are purchasing cabinets through us.

Q. Do you use fillers? If so, why?
A. We will never use fillers unless absolutely necessary.

Q. Are cabinet interiors the same species and finish as the exterior?
A. For standard cabinets, a clear finish birch plywood is used. Open cabinets or cabinets with glass doors receive the same finish as the cabinet exterior.

Q. Are you insured?
A. We are fully insured.
